Under the ongoing celebrations of 26^th January 2026 under the theme “Gantantra Ki Awaaz – Swachhata Ke Saath”, Housing and Urban Development Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir organized an Open Mic on 21^st January 2026 at Bahu Plaza. Hosted by RJ Sarang and Morlin Brightson, the event brought together voices from the community through poetry, music, dance, skit and speeches that reflected patriotism, democratic value and reinforced the collective commitment towards cleanliness and civic sense. The event was witnessed by Dr. Devansh Yadav, IAS, MD SBM Urban and Sh. Rupesh Kumar, IAS, Vice Chairman JDA. The energy and participation of both performers and the audience made the afternoon engaging and enjoyable.
